Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce was started in the very inception of the college in the year 1980 with Pre Degree Course in Commerce. The department was upgraded to Undergraduate department in 1991-1992 offering B.Com course. In the year 2012-13, the department was upgraded to a post graduate department offering M.Com. Course with specialization in Finance More than 180 students and 9 teachers are in the department. Our students have placed themselves as Lecturers, Chartered Accountants, Business Executives and a few are working abroad in various levels. .

    The Department has a separate Department Library and book bank system. Internet facilities are available for both Staff & Students. All the class rooms in the department are ICT enabled and LCD projectors are available in all class rooms and among them one PG class room is having Interactive Smart Board. There is an exclusive computer lab for commerce students with internet facility.
